To continue aiding Ayrshire guitarists in their search for replacement guitar strings SGL will now, as well as 9 gauge electric strings, be supplying 10 gauge electric strings, 10 gauge acoustic strings and 11 gauge acoustic strings. All strings will cost £5 and can be fitted for you free by Scott while you wait (a few minutes only). Electric srtings are D'addario XLs and acoustic strings are Martin.

Nick will be stopping teaching for SGL so we say thank you to Nick for his help and best of luck at university, and we say welcome to David Elliott who will be replacing Nick. David's info timetable and photo will be up soon.

Scott will be supplying guitar strings. This should come as a relief for many as there are no longer any music shops in Ayr. Initially it will be electric guitar strings gauge 9 but if demand is there 10 gauge electric and acoustic strings will be included also.

There will be a slight price increase to £16 per hour for private lessons and £11.50 per hour for group lessons. This reflects the costs of improving facilities available to pupils, whilst continuing to be competitive for guitar lessons in Ayr.

Payment through the web site is now available, we will be using the industry standard Paypal system for convenience and cost effectiveness.
